2. Evgeny Sveshnikov Memorial 2026

   Evgeny Sveshnikov Memorial 2026 will take place February 20-22, 2026, in Jurmala, Latvia. Evgeny Sveshnikov Memorial is part of the Jurmala Chess Festival and consists of a rapid and blitz tournament. The eldest son of Evgeny Sveshnikov, IM Vladimir Sveshnikov, has already confirmed participation. Among the pre-registered players is also GM Alexei Shirov.
