International Youth Tournament "Tallinn 2016" will be organized by the Estonian Chess Federation in cooperation with its member clubs. The competition will be supported by Tallinn City Sports and Youth Department, the Council of Gambling Tax and the Cultural Endowment of Estonia.

Celebrating the 100th birth anniversary of chess grandmaster Paul Keres, providing youth chess players an opportunity to participate in an international competition and developing friendly relations with neighboring countries. The competitions will also serve as qualification events for the 2016 Estonian Boys and Girls U18 and U16 Championships.
