Second year in the row Estonian chess champion is IM Meelis Kanep who got 7 points from 9. Second and third were FM Andrei Kalinitshev and IM Olav Sepp. It was one of the strongest championships in last years, our grandmasters were far behind the first ones.
Estonian women champion 2005 is WIM Monika Tsiganova. She got 10 points from 11. Second was Valeria Gansvind (9p), who lived in Russia earlier years. And the third was Viktoria Bashkite (7.5p).
