Estonian rapid chess champion 2003 is IM Meelis Kanep who lost only one game and won all others, 10 points from 11 and 1.5 points ahead of other concurents. He is best junior 2003 and got second place on Estonian Men Championship 2003. There was 81 participants on rapid event, but without GM-s Kaido Kulaots, Jaan Ehlvest and Mikhail Rytshagov. Best senior was IM Hillar Karner. Last year winner was GM Kaido Kulaots.
